Richard Townsend is a Manager at Lixar IT and moved to Canada from the UK six years ago.

He started his career as a Software Developer in 2008 making mobile barcodes long before the iPhone or barcoded boarding passes were commonly used. As well as mobile boarding pass solutions he has also led teams building mission critical mobile applications for pilots, flight attendants and mechanics at various airlines both in North America and internationally.

Richard is a keen aviation enthusiast and enjoys working at the intersection of aviation and IT.
